The Island Breeze Lu'au happens every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday evening with added Wednesdays during the summer.

You can purchase tickets for the Island Breeze Lu'au through our website or by calling our customer service line. Visit our official website and navigate to the "Tickets" section, where you can select your preferred date and ticket type. We accept various payment methods, including major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, as well as PayPal for online purchases. For added convenience, you can also purchase tickets in person at our Lu'au Desk, located inside the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Resort, where we accept cash and card payments. To ensure availability, especially during peak tourist seasons, we recommend booking your tickets well in advance.

We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. Our refund policy is designed to offer flexibility while ensuring the best experience for all our guests. If you need to cancel your booking, for parties of 10 or less we require a 24-hour notice of cancellation prior to the lūʻau. Groups of 10 to 20 guests require a 72-hour notice of cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price. We recommend contacting our customer service team as soon as possible if you need to make any changes to your reservation.

At Island Breeze Lu'au, you can expect a vibrant and culturally rich experience that showcases the true essence of Hawai'i. Our luau is Hawai'i Island's only event featuring the presentation of the Hawaiian Royal Court, which honors the historical significance of Hawaiian royalty. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the adjacent Ahu'ena Heiau, our show includes traditional hula and polynesian dances, captivating fire-knife performances, live musical entertainment, and a delicious AYCE buffet and open bar serving standard mixed drinks and soft drinks. Pre-show activities include various arts & crafts, hula lessons, and the unveiling of the Kalua Pig in the underground oven, Imu.

Yes, you may take photos and videos during the show! If you post it on your social media please tag us @islandbreezeluau We do ask that you turn off your flash during the Fireknife dance, as it is dangerous for our siva afi warrior.

We have photographers available at the entrance of our lu'au who can take photos of your group. These photos will be available to view and purchase using a QR code on your table. Printed photos are only available for purchase until 7pm on the night of your lu'au. Digital Downloads are available for purchase after the lu'au.
